In Food and Medicine shares the same roots General session, we focused on using the theories of Yin-Yang and the Five Elements to explain the properties of individual foods and their effects on different body meridians and constitutions. We also examined circumstances under which to eat these foods, and how to benefit from their abilities to prevent or cure illness. In this session, we will discover the principles behind combining certain foods, using their synergies to help maintain a state of good health. We all experience variations in our health; there are times when our bodies feel less than optimal, with decreased physical or mental vitality.
