What type of food we should eat to help with our Spiritual healing progress?

Firstly, do you know what is food means for our body?

We must understand that food is not a religion or a culture, food is just the “fuel” for our body. There may be cultural aspects to the taste, or even religious tinge to the food over a period of time.

Then what kind of food will it function with minimum struggle within itself and maximum impact. As suppose you buy a petrol car and pump diesel into it, it may still roll around but not at its optimum. Similarly, various foods you can eat and still somehow it functions. But for whoever which have eaten with care, you can clearly see a distinct difference in the way they function the levels of intelligence and whatever. So, we describe food in different way, for different people in different way, if you are doing menial jobs you eat one way, because you need physical muscle. If you are doing other kinds of trading and other kinds of activities, you eat another way. If you are a fighting class, you eat differently. Or now if you are into education spiritual process and subtler aspects of life, then you eat differently.

In our spiritual journey, you need to stay focused on your mind, your thoughts, such as during a strong meditation process. Or you need to focus to finish some paperwork or to read a book, but in a lot of case, you may just feel so sleepy after 10 mins. Lots of the students said, they just can’t read anymore after they finish school and they start to doubt about themselves, if they are getting old and lack of memory or focus.

Funny enough is this usually will not happen if you just watch a movie or a football match. You will remember each single words.

So is not because you lack memory or focus, what you need is a higher level of focus, a higher level of involvement.

As some of the books may just chemistry does not attract you, if your chemistry is gelling, you can be always focused on it. In such case it is just no chemistry, but you have to focus on that.

For this you need a balance and a steady mind, for this you need to eat in a certain way to put it very simply, food goes through your body through the elementary canal, from your mouth to your anal outlet, there is a pipe, through this it runs going through various stages of digestive process.

What kind of food can we eat so there is no inertia in the body?

If we look at the animal kingdom there are two main segments of animal: herbivores and carnivores. One is vegetable matter another eats meat. If you look at the elementary canal the way, it is built between herbivores and carnivores there’s a distinct difference. Everything in the human being suggests that you are naturally an herbivore but for the sake of survival, we became carnivores, if you look at the jaw movement, all the carnivorous animals have only cutting action, herbivores have cutting and grinding action, there are molars. But carnivores don’t have widespread molars. They have just incisors, canines and everything looks like cutting teeth. They do only with cutting action with their mouth and swallow. But all the herbivores do grind.

So, what do you have? You have both right? So, you supposed to chew your food, why you are supposed to chew your foodies that you have enzymes in your saliva, where if you take a little bit of raw rice and put it in your mouth just for a minute you will see turn sweet right there. Because right in our month, carbohydrate is being converted into sugar. If we eat properly, about 30-50% of the digestion should happen in our mouth. This part of the digesting system is expecting half-digested food or partially digested food. But right now, most of the people they way how they are eating is mostly we are putting not only undigested food but partially destroyed food, therefore, the amount of food we need to get the same amount of energy is increased. We need to eat much more food than what we should eat to generate that much of energy. Your body is working very hard daily to just digest the food you put in. Because of this there is inertia in our body, as it has to process so much more food than what it should.

Once there is inertia your sleep quota increases. If you eat right and do a certain thing with your body, you will see very effortlessly within approximately 21-28 days, you can drop your sleep to a very limited level between 3-4 hours and you are still able to stay focus for the daily activities.

We just need to eat consciously and learn to sit properly. Posture your geometry of the body and what goes into the system make big difference.

Not only what we eat but also how we eat is important. Since food is a live thing, one simple thing we can do is just see various health issues, inertia issue, focus issue ect, just bring 40-50% of the food in its raw form that means it’s alive. It must be a lifestyle, it can be vegetable, fruit or nut, or even special tradition Chinese Zen tea.

When we are eating dead food daily and we want to live, isn’t it a little difficult thing to do? (as you need to raise the dead to be live). But if we eat live food, you will see the state of your mind, your focus and your sleep quality and quotas. Our intention is not just everyone staying awake, but to stay alert. How alert we can be? How focus we can be? Only to that extent everything yields to you in this world.

The level of focus will determine whether the world yields to you or not.

One more aspect of life, one more aspect of food is when we consume something, it must be of a simple genetic code in the sense, it must be a very simple “software”. Vegetable, fruit, nut, tea, in general plant base food they are very simple. More complicated is animal food, it becomes more and more complicated, suppose you eat an animal which has some amount of emotion and the life of its own, now the code in that we were talking about this your body is just an accumulation of memory, which means a certain software. Human software is the most complex software on the planet of all the creatures. So, if we eat an animal, particularly a mammal, it has a similar kind of complexity maybe not as complex as this similar level of complexity because it has thought and emotion of its own. Now for us to break that code and integrate it into your system, you are not fully successful, so it will leave traces of certain qualities within you, you cannot break that code and make it a part of yours because it’s a different and complex code. If you eat a leaf a vegetable a fruit a nut or anything plant base, this is much simpler, if you must eat non-vegetarian food, you must eat that which is furthest away from you, so generally fish and water life is furthest away from you.

What food impact to our spiritual development – our inner universe.

Neither Zen lifestyle, Taoism nor Chinese traditional medicine (CTM) asked us to eat only Vegan. But to let your QI炁flow better throughout your body - the full meridian channels, it’s better you eat plant base.

How the powerful energy QI flow in our body?

Qi flows through meridians channeling through the body. Key points along those meridians are used in Acupuncture, Acupressure, and other bodywork methods used in Chinese medicine. Qi is also the foundation of health and healing with Chinese medicine.

Our bodies need balance. A balanced flow or energy, not too much or too little, is conducive to good health. We can see this harmony and balance in life, as the balance between the energies of yin and yang, the two opposing and catalyzing energies of the universe.

Our health is vibrant if there is harmony and balance between these two forces in the body. If the balance is disturbed, and the flow of one of these forces becomes greater than the other then illness arises. These forces or energies flow through very definite channels in the body, or meridians, and these are the body’s healing energy pathways.

When the flow of energy is blocked, it causes low energy and illness. Practices like yoga and meditation work on these subtle energy channels, supporting the flow of energy through the body. According to some ancient Indian texts there are 350 000 nadis or energy pathways in the body. If you are sensitive to energy and have had energy treatments, such as acupuncture, you may have felt streams of energy or a flow of cold or heat, for example, up the legs or arms. This is a freeing up of energy in the meridians and the flow of energy that is released when a blockage is removed.

There are many wonderful healing modalities based on the meridian system that support radiant health. By enhancing the flow of energy through the body, balance and health is achieved and we come in touch with our true selves. Acupuncture(针灸), Cupping(拔罐), Moxibustion(艾灸)and herbal tea healing(茶疗) are therapeutics modality used in China as early as the late stone age. It was used to treat all ailments affecting people.

How Qi from different kind of food influence the QI in our body? 不同食物的炁如何影响人的炁

Firstly, a very important point we need to know - how the energy Qi being produce in our body?

Qi is about our overall energy that we get from digesting and processing foods and the air we breathe. Not only do we need to eat well but we must be able to break the food down. We also focus on having good Wuzang Liufu 五脏六腑Spleen, Stomach, Live, Lungs, heart ect. Qi as part of the earth element. However, the energy of the Chinese “Spleen” is not only about digestion but related to an emotional state. The emotion of an out of balanced spleen energy is over worrying and overthinking which can activate the sympathetic nervous system. Our Wuzang need to work together and maintain the balance of YinYang, to ensure the “machine” our body function properly.

The Yin and Yang Accomplish changes in the five elements, which both produce one another and overcome one another. All changes in the universe can be explained by the workings of Yin and Yang and the progress of the five elements as they either produce one another or overcome one another

In traditional Chinese medicine the theory of five elements is used to interpret the relationship between the physiology and pathology of the human body and the natural environment. According to the theory, the five elements are in constant move and change, and the interdependence and mutual restraint of the five elements explain the complex connection between material objects as well as the unity between the human body and the natural world.

Sour (wood) enters the liver and gall bladder meridians to support the livers role in filtering and nourishing the blood and assisting the gall bladder in digesting fats and oils.

Bitter (fire) enters the heart and small intestine meridians. In traditional Chinese medicine the heart is referred to as the king of all organs as it distributes blood to all parts of the body. It is also viewed as the controller of emotions. Sour flavors support the small intestines in separating nutrients and waste materials.

Sweet (earth) enters the spleen-pancreas and stomach meridians supporting the extraction and assimilation of nutrients from food.

Pungent (metal) enters the lungs and large intestines meridians to support the lungs in controlling breath, extracting Qi from air and helping the circulation of blood (with the heart). The lungs also support the large intestines in eliminating wastes. Proper breathing is believed to aid the contractions in the intestines.

Salty (water) enters the kidneys and bladder meridians to support the kidneys in extracting wastes from the blood, producing urine and maintaining the body’s fluid balance. The bladder stores and expels urine.

The triple burner is responsible for controlling the intake of Qi, the transformation processes and the elimination of wastes.

The pericardium is a sack surrounding the heart that has a role in protecting the heart from physical and emotional disruption. It assists in the regulation of blood flow into and out of the heart.

How tea helps to keep the balance of our inner balance YinYang
